Straight to the point deer recovery

Straight to the Point Kennels Deer Recovery offers dedicated deer tracking and recovery services during hunting season using highly trained German Wirehaired Pointers. We are committed to helping hunters maximize successful recoveries while minimizing lost game throughout the season.

• If you believe the shot may be questionable for any reason, avoid tracking the deer yourself. Quietly back out and contact us.
• If you begin tracking and lose blood, do not continue walking around searching for more sign. This can contaminate the track and make recovery more difficult for the dog.
• Pay close attention to the direction the deer traveled and mark the exact hit location whenever possible.
• Please obtain permission from neighboring landowners ahead of time if the deer may cross property lines. We will not trespass.
